Meet Your Host
Rev. Linnecko Cash
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I am Reverend Linnecko Cash, let me introduce myself. I am a native of Portsmouth, VA where I was born and raised and am currently a Georgia Peach where I reside in the Atlanta area. When I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Norfolk State University in 2010, I did not even realize it at the time that this degree would catapult me into my God-given destiny and purpose. This was my very first call to ministry and I had no idea what God was about to do. That call came very clearly one day and I didn’t understand it right away. Knowing nothing about Social Work, I followed the Holy Spirit’s lead anyway.

Once I started the program, the next call came as I heard the Lord speak the words, “Ministry and Social Work!” This began my life’s work as a “Therapeutic Minister” because in 2014 I answered my call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was later ordained an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church while I simultaneously completed my Master’s degree in Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary. Columbia is also where I am currently working on my Doctorate degree in Educational Ministry (DEdMin).
After about 8 years of working in the mental health field as a therapist, family counselor, school social worker, and a psych ward social worker, God called me to the online space. I started my social media ministry in 2015 with “Ministry Monday” where I shared God’s weekly revelations in my life. This Facebook ministry eventually evolved into a very public AND personal YouTube vlogging journey of grief and loss, then to a very healing devotional ministry journey on YouTube, and now to podcasting. This very unique way of preaching, teaching, and ministering has added a blessing of richness and fulfillment to my life that I could have never seen coming when I answered my very first call.

As a WIM (Woman in Ministry) with a very unique call on my integrated ministry, I didn’t always feel worthy of such a powerful call to leadership. Leadership in my family, in my online social media ministry, and even in the church started as a challenge because for so long I didn’t know if I truly believed what God had said about me or even to me. It took some time to walk in the fullness of who I really am. Being a wife and a stay-at-home mother to my two beautiful and brilliant girls (ages 1&4) helped me to know that I needed to step into my leadership role and walk tall in it. It took some seasoned wisdom to come into the power that God has put into my ministry and to embrace the passionate leader that I am. Now with this very powerful awareness, I am able to bring to you the same encouragement and wisdom.
Welcome to my podcast,
Linnecko
